Dr. Sheldon Cheskes

Sheldon Cheskes is currently the Medical Director, Sunnybrook Osler Centre for Pre hospital Care. He provides medical oversight for Peel and Halton EMS agencies. Dr. Cheskes graduated from University of Toronto School of Medicine in 1984. He served as Deputy Chief, Emergency Medicine at William Osler Health Centre, Peel Memorial Hospital Campus from 1988-2006. He is certified in both Family and Emergency Medicine through the College of Family Physicians of Canada. He as well serves as an Examiner for the College in the discipline of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Cheskes research interests include cardiopulmonary resuscitation including CPR process measures as well as prehosptial airway management.
